Huh? Lupe is the best in mainstream at the moment, he isn't the best ever of course, but he is the best right now, Jay Z is a sell out and is starting to make songs like Lil Wayne and Nas barely makes albums anymore. And out of that list, definently listen to 2Pac and Gangstarr, they are awesome. Also, all those saying "rofl Lupe Fiasco", did you even listen to the songs I linked, very meaningful and they sound good.

Nas is making his newest Album ''Untitiled'' and in my opinion going to be the greatest Mainstream Rap so far.

I understand that most video-gamers like Rock. However, i really hate their reason for hating rap. As for me, i love all genre, as long as it sounds good and meaningful to me, i'll listen to it. But Rap is probably my favourite Genre atm, i hate mainstream rap though.

Regarding the Rap hating, i wish you guys could take a little research on what Rap really is or was before. As i really agree with Chris Rock, i am tired of defendig rap.

Immortal Technqiue once got offered by Interscope or BMG studios not actually sure but it could make him to the Mainstream rap, but he refused the offer for some reason. Regarding Lupe Fiasco, i am not sure if he is the greatest Young Rapper alive, maybe on the Mainstream Rap but if you mean the whole Hip Hop Genre then that is a different story.
