Part-Time Gaming Update...

I know I've said before that I have too many good games to play and not enough hours in the day for them all, but it's TRUE! :D

I must admit, Gaming in general hasn't been high on my list of priorities over the past couple of months (as you may have been able to guess from my general absence here at GS for the same sorta time). However, I have managed to occasionally pick up the DS, or fire up the X-Box for some good old-fashioned fun. :) (The 'Cube and PS2 have been a lil' quiet - but they're still there, waiting patiently.)

On the DS, I've been playing some Final Fantasy Tactics Advance whenever I have some time. I think I'm getting close on half way through all the Missions in the game - I think. I'm clocking in at around 57 hours game time so far, so this game is kinda large. Managed to build up some pretty kewl characters - got myself a Hunter now so I'm trying to catch as many critters as I can for my Morpher to change into. Working on a Gladiator, a Dragoon and a Templar which are all going well. Trying to nail down a Blue Mage and some of the Moogle classes, but I've got a while to go before I've sorted 'em all. Still enjoying the ride, and a review will follow - once I finish the game. Patience is a virtue, people. :)

The 'Box has been amusing me with The Bard's Tale. A not-too-shabby RPG with a few good laughs, and some good gameplay as well. I'm over halfway through it now, I think - two towers down, one to go. So I figure over the next week or so I shall manage to free Princess Caleigh and claim my just reward. ;)

Once I finish up adventuring with everyone's favourite Minstrel, I shall be putting pen to paper and airing my thoughts on it. At which point I may have to try and finish up the Challenge between myself and my good mate Stan. Yes, everything was going at a cracking pace - both of us vying for first place by completing the game. Then it kinda... stopped. Nine races from the end of the game. Haven't looked at it in a couple of months. (Stan's prolly finished it by now, which would be a tad annoying. :P)

So I'm trying to get back into some more regular Gaming, and make more of an addition to my completed games list. (Which currently numbers two games in the last six months or so - Ratchet and Clank and Lord of the Rings - The Third Age) Maybe I should just call in sick for a week or so?

More another time people - have a great week in Gaming! :D
