It's been a while since I've post something here.

Let's let something clear.When using an emulator we got the option to use state saves.Some say that this is cheating.Well, I say that it isn't.

When you play any game there's good and bad probabilyties.What determinates your sucess is a continous good probabilyties chain.

-Example:What determinates the winner of a competition is that almost always someone wins (even if the players have the same skills).

-Example 2:What determinates a Perfect in a fighting game is the chance of you punch your enemy and he don't counter attack in a good way and, luckly, it keep happening until the round ends.

There's something that we can eliminate using state saves:LUCK.Like when you play The Mercenaaries in RE4 or RE5 and a ganado/majini runs suddenly when you expect it to walk, ruining your strategy.With state saves we can make the good probability chain happens very often.This makes you gain time to play other games and prevents you to become angry when keeping getting the bad probability chain.

State saves are great.I don't see any way it can be used to cheat.

The first cheat device created are the Action Replay by Datel and it was selled all around Europe.Some time later the company Interact was exporting the action replay to the america with the name of Game Shark(that is the reason why Game Shark cheats works on Action Replay and vice versa).After that, another ones was releases by other companys such as Codebreaker.

I'm a huge fan of cheat devices, as you can see in my profile.But why I'm creating this blog?The awser:To show my oppinion about this great invention.

I believe that is the right way and the wrong way to use then.

The Wrong Way:The first and major wrong way is to use then as boot discs to play ilegal copies of games.Another one is that you buy a game and get stucked in some part that is difficult, for example, because you die a lot or run out of ammo quikly.Then to pass this part you put infinite health and infinite ammo cheats.That is a wrong way to use this device.Prove that you can beat the game, then put this codes for fun.In that way you prove yourself that you don't need a cheat device to beat games and you will get much more fun from the games.

The Right Way:Use to kick the main character out of the party on a RPG game(ex:Final Fantasy) using a char modifier code.If you don't like the main char you can make you own part or use a char that is not acessible anymore(like Laguna or Seifer in Final Fantasy VIII).Another use is Infinite money cheat(but only in certain cases).Ex:If you wanna buy a expensive item and you have a way to make money very slow(like in Megaman Legends 2 on the weapon Shining Laser).Then is correct use a cheat device for infinite money because in this cases you will get sick of the game very quikly.Other is using infinite health and infinite ammo cheats after you beat the game to only enjoy shot the enemies without have to worry about your ammo or see a powerfull enemy try to kill you in vain, but, again, AFTER YOU BEAT THE GAME.Another one is use it to simply modify your char to play the game as him(like play with the Mercenaries chars in Resident Evil 3 and 4(in Resident Evil 3 I played with Nicholay and in RE4 with Wesker at the first time I've played this games.I have to pass the Village only with the first pistol and cannot hide Ashley or tell her to wait.This maked the game more difficult)on Main game).And, for finish, another right way is to use some stuffs, mini games, weapons and characters that are cutted before the game is finished but continues hidden on the game such play as Jimpachi Mishima in Tekken 5(note:if you play vs mode and win a round with Jimpachi, the text "Jimpachi Mishima Wins" will appears on the screen, meaning that Jimpachi are suposed to be playable but they cut him before the game was released).But this last right way has a exception:GTA San andreas Hot coffee mini game.This one certain is extremely ilegal.NEVER USE A CHEAT DEVICE TO PLAY HOT COFFEE AND OTHER STUFFS LIKE THAT!

Maybe there are some more wrong and right ways to use cheat devices that I've don't listened here.Aniway I guess that is it.Use cheat devices for good reasons players.
