2012 is a tad to early for my likings. Sony needs to chill, as with Microsoft. The Wii U will be released in 2012, so the smart decision for Microsoft and Sony would be to wait up and see how people react to the Wii U. If the Wii U fails, launch the consoles end 2013. If it succeeds, Early 2013. Also, don't give the new consoles the whole "YOU ARE THE CONSOLE DERP HERHERHERP" Because this will make 70%* of gamers switch to PC.

*Statistic was made up by an idiot. Don't believe it. it's probably 10% off or something.

I think they should make a Halo where Master Chief and Marcus Fenix team up to battle the locovenent. And at the end it turns out it's all just a novel writtin by Alan Wake. Sorry, those are the only Xbox exclusive Protagonists I can think of.

Well there's Benjamin Carmine, Alex Mercer, and To a certain extent Nathan Drake. I don't play that many games with original characters, they all seem to be the same old same old.

Majora's mask. it's an incredibly unnerving game with some downright creepy settings and characters.

Ocarina of Time (the Shadow Temple, the Guru Guru dude) Majora's Mask (the whole atmosphere is just unsettling and there are some legitmatley scary moments in the game and many more unsettling ones)... and that's all I can think of right now.

EDIT: TC, you have to play Majora's Mask. It's amazing.

I have. It's my favorite Zelda game, even though It was the main source of me never wanting to play a Zelda game for a LONG time.

For me it would have to be Majoras Mask. With the whole Creepy moon, The skull kid, The Red Heads, And mostly theHappy Mask salesman shaking Link, It made me never want to play it. Still don't, even though I enjoyed it. Anyway what are some classic games that scared/ creeped you out?

Showed? how did it do that again? Gears was average at best not to mention it was too brown almost no colours thats not counting everyone going last stand, one of the worst betas i have ever played and here i thought pshome beta was bad lol.. after playing both betas.. uncharted 3 destorys gears 3

Gears had a good ending, Mario games are never about the story so don't know why you put there, Reach's ending was fantastic, but I do agree on Bioshock and dead space.
