@Almighty-mints: Alrighty, thanks for the tip. @CARNAGES41: I'll play most anything, except for sports games, which I've never really understood.

Sorry, did I say something weird? I just like meeting new people, you know?....Okay, okay, I guess reading it over it does seem a little weird, I'll admit, lol.

But none of my friends around here have Xboxes. Anyway, long story short, I'm looking for a few friends so I don't feel so lonely, lol. Normally, I'd just add people I come across in games, except that they generally are no fun and don't tend to care about much more than the game that you met them in, ya know? I'm a seventeen year old girl from Utah. So anyway, anyone interested in meeting someone new should go ahead and add me. My Gamertag: WhiteRose16. Thanks, all!

With Gamestop, chances are that if you are buying a used game, it's not going to come with much more than the game disc itself. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll get instruction manuals and what-not, but as for promotional material (such as a soundtrack,) I'm afraid your chances are slim to none. Sorry!

did you try to pry it apart near the power button?

its imposible to fix

No, I pulled it apart in the back; the power button broke when I was putting the case back on after the repair. Yeah, I know it's impossible to fix; that's why I ordered a new system. I'm just looking for a temporary fix until my new system arrives. Actually, since my last post I've been working on it more and I actually have been able to get it to power on again by pressing a pin against one of the pins on the back of the ribbon cable attached to the back of the mount for the PCB. However, I haven't been able to get it to do it again, although I have been able to get the LED to change from red to green by pushing a different pin.

When trying to replace the laser on my slimline PS2, I had to remove the top of the case. Everything after that went fine, but when putting the top back on after having replaced the laser, I broke the PCB on the on/reset button. It can't be put back on, so I've ordered a new console. However, it will take several days to arrive. I still have the top off of the old console, and it still seems to work fine: the red standby LED turns on, and I've taped down the sensors so that it not having a lid won't be a problem; I thought I was all set to be able to use my makeshift-repaired PS2 until my new one arrived. However, because the PCB is broken, I have no way of actually turning the console out of standby and playing anything. Does anyone know an alternate way to power on the console (possibly by sticking a pin or small piece of metal somewhere on the inside, or wiggling a cable, etc.) ? Thanks so much for any help!

I'm a member of the theater group at my school, and in the play we're about to put on, I'm supposed to play the Australian girl. Now, I've got the part pretty much down, but I need to make my Aussie accent sound authentic. Any ideas on how to get a good Australian accent, at least temporarily? Thanks!

One night after school, when I was changing into my pajamas, I realised that the pants I had been wearing that day had a huge hole in the butt! And what's worse, I had worn bright pink underwear that day!

Ya know, I'm pretty sure alot of guys would be into girls that like video games. :?MoldOnHold

You'd be suprised. Seems they all want Prom Queen/Volleyball Champion type girls, and I couldn't dance or play sports if I was payed for it.
