@scottyfied: Most people don't realize they're paying $1000 per phone, it's hidden in their bill while they pay a few hundred up front if any. Working at a cell phone shop I can't count how many times I've told people their week old phone would cost a couple hundred to fix and they'd respond with, "The phone didn't cost that". =]
@lonewolf1044: That's the thing though, I truly believe this is a don't sue us clause for the sake of it and not a real warning. I have several friends that are in the beta with me and none of them have experienced any issue with their name changes either, nor have I found any cases online while searching for it. My guess is it'll only affect a very select few PS3 games or PSP, but beyond that I don't see there being an issue like every video game news site is fluffing it up to be.
Lol Puffed article for views. Changed my online id and nothing bad happened. I've done proper testing on all my purchases, lost none, checked my save data on the games I care most about, lost none. The disclaimer itself says this will only affect a very small portion of games, unlike what is said in this article.
@nedrith: Completely agree with you about handheld games. As someone who grew up on a Gameboy pocket I wouldn't expect to have this issue, but I have a horrible time focusing on handheld consoles these day even if I try my damnedest to overcome it. Grips help a lot, the Monster Hunter Hunting Gear grips are by far the best I've used.
@mwewerka: Don't take Gamespot as gospel, they poorly research every article they release. This is a prime example of them rushing a post for some hot Nintendo Switch views for that desperate autoplaying ad at the top of the page. The link is right in the tweet, they didn't even go past the tweet before posting.
It's all in the "Please Note" section of the product page. =]
Oh Hori, baby, noooo... Maybe it's just the blue color, but it looks so cheap.
No wireless, HD Rumble, gyro, or SL and SR are a deal breaker.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I love Hori, I own a lot of their products. My favorite is the n3DS XL Monster Hunter Double Cross grip. Check it out, it's dope.
