Hello everybody. In case you didn't see where I went in my last blog, I'll tell you now that I went to Turkey. I went to Ankara, the capital, for most of the time. And I went to Istanbul for a day. The trip was great. Turkey is probably the most hospitable country I've ever been to. People kept giving me stuff and kept serving me food and tea. Every time I go to Turkey, something amazes me. This time, it was a giant mall. You never really think of Turkey as being a modern country because so many areas are really old-fashioned still, but this mall was the definition of modern. It was the biggest mall I have ever seen and it even had an I-MAX theater in it with 24 other theaters. I was very impressed. There's even a huge grocery store in the mall. That was something I couldn't believe. And then you go outside and still see people selling stuff on the streets. It just amazes me. Anyway, I had a great time and I apologize if I can't post in your unions right away. I still have stuff to do before going back to college. Well, all of you take care. :D
