Um, its nothing like Starcraft? I guess if you merely focus on the combat strategy part, then I guess it could be loosely defined as an RTS, but in general that has become a genre name for games like Starcraft, Age of Empires etc.

The combat is real-time strategy, is it not? You simply set out a plan for each team, which they carry out automatically. Then, if need be, pause for real-time commands. From what I understand, that is how combat works in Dragon Age. Am I wrong?

Opinions can't be true or false. If you're saying I'll be taken as more credible, then I hear you. To be honest, I was excited over Dragon Age, until I found out it's just an RTS game in a "dark fantasy" world. I have watched countless hours of video. Trailers, Dev interviews, comparisons, reviews... After reading and watching all that, I have come to this decision. If I have to pay the $60 just to get gamespot forum credibility... then I don't need it.
RTS? I think you may be a little mistaken man...
