[QUOTE="WickaWireX"]I'm finding that I'm in that same position. I'm resistant to the fact of selling my Xbox 360 because I want Fable 2, Mass Effect, Halo 3, and plenty more Xbox 360 exculsive titles. But if I sell my Xbox 360 on eBay, I could bump up to 4 GBS of RAM and go SLI with a second 320 MB 8800 GTS, which would be awesome.Zemus
Which would be completly pointless for 2 reasons.
1, Barely Any games even utulize SLI, which means your still using 1 video card. They will not still for a good couple years imo. SLI and Crossfire are scams right now to make you waste your money. And by the time every game generally starts to utulize SLI you will need to buy 2 new cards.
2. Unless you use a 64bit OS your computer cannot detect more than 2GB of Ram. Considering the fact that Vista 64bit is even more usless than vista 32bit whcih i might add right now is still horrible, thisseems quite pointless, & XP 64bit actually runs well enough to not even NEED 2GB of ram to run perfectly fine with any game.
So unless you want to waste your money, keep the 360. youll find much more use for it.
Im not trying to start a huge debate here, but please make sure you don't loose yourself to nothing more than Hype when it comes to PC upgrades. Most of that "Uber" Technology is completly usless for the time being. Save your money until its actually usefull and might I add at the rate technology is advancing 5x more powerful.
I own both an insanely high End PC & 360 and there is absolutly no reason to stay with 1 platform. the 360 has exclusives the pc will never have that are AAA and you should be shooting yourself in the foot for missing them if you are that stubborn and biased to lean 1 way.
There are "Gamers" & There are "Fanboy's" Bias can turn even the most proud people into complete idiots.
B*tch how dare you call me a fanboy, u are right about the sli but i have x64 and anyways i probably will just get a new gpu later when they start to uutilize sli.
