have you tried using it in windows 95 or 98 along with turned off visual themes and the 640 by 480 resalution mode?

Also if this doesnt work, try have a particiton on the hard disk so you can install windows 98/ME and run the older games that way.

I was thinking of getting this game, what is it like to play? Is it hard to level up? Are the clans any good for people who want to dip in and out and not play for required lengths?

Maybe checkout GameTap. They have like 800+ games. Lots of classics from the old school plus FarCry, and RPG's like Baudler's Gate I+II, Icewind Dale, Might & Magic series, Phantasy Star I+II+III, Ultima I-IV, and several otheres. They've also got a nice line up of strategy games as well.  Nothing brand new but a good assortment of games that will likely keep you busy for sometime.  They also seem to be adding more quite frequently.  Not a bad service and they may offer a free trial or at least a cheap trial.DuaneDog
