2008 was an odd year for video games, in my opinion at least. Nintendo fans had to wait a few months for some good Wii games, while Microsoft fans had a horrible summer game wise. I've decided to form a list of my favorite games of the 2008 year.

10 ) Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

9 ) Animal Crossing: City Folk

8 ) Super Smash Brothers Brawl

7 ) Wii Fit

6 ) Gears of War 2

5 ) World of Warcraft: Linch King

4 ) Starwars the Force Unleashed

3 ) Fable 2

2 ) Super Mario Galaxy

1 ) Mario Kart: Wii

You might say "What!? Mario Kart: Wii?! Why??" wellthe reason this got number one on my list is because it has a brand new feel to it and it ropes in the old race tracks too. Also, you cannot forget the Wii Wheel! The wheel made the game easier to control and it feels better to hold it in your hand than the Wiimote. The game created a brand new face for the Mario Kart series because of the excellent WiFi racing.
