I would suggest Pikmin. It's an excellent game.

I like Stamina mode cause you know when you're gonna die, instead just getting easier to kill.

Thanks. Did you know that the guy who produced Zelda and Mario was the same guy? No wonder they both are popular games. He also made pikmin. (That's also a very good game)

Here are a couple of other good games that rocked the gamecube world:

Pikmin 2 (sorta)

Gauntlet (The Gamecube version of the Arcade game)

And Mario Sunshine (I thought it was an excellent game, 8.9 of 10.0)
