I try to frequently go back to the handful of games that I just don't beat. They include:

Ninja Gaiden 2- Got to the "Bone Giant" boss, had to quit from popping too many blood vessels.

Star Ocean- worst purchase in my life, I get bored 5 minutes after they land on the planet.

Lost Odyssey- I always get to the top of the hill, and that dragon kicks the crap out of me. On my first playthrough, I got to the second boss, the hydra with the respawning snakes whom you have to beat twice. However that proved to be much like hitting one's head against a brick wall.

Overlord 1&2- I'm actually pretty close to the ending for both games, just don't feel like beating them.

Eternal Sonata - Great game, I believe something better came out just as I reached the half-way point, and I accidentally read the ending on a forum I believe.

Tales of Vesperia- Again, I have just recently got back into it, I'm stuck on the battle with Estelle, she has 10x as many hitpoints as you. Which really doesn't make sense. But Bayonetta just came out and has peaked my curiosity.

I just wouldn't be able to get past some of the ridiculous ideas in Bayonetta. Like summoning hair demons to eat the bosses? Wtf? But darksiders seems like a pretty average game. This ones pretty debatable.

Previously: Titan Quest, and I still havn't even read a review for that game, thorougly enjoyed it, nonetheless.

Future: Fable 2...as much as the first one "broke promises", I still loved that game.

Besides those points, it's a terrible game. How on earth this game got a 9.0 is some sort of miracle. They basically took Civ 4, cut it down to allow little or no actual strategy in the game. The outcome of the game is based on who can build stuff faster. Laughable graphics, boring gameplay, and none of your advisors acutally speak any kind of language. Honestly, once you build a few factories, the game is over. You can create anything in 5 turns or less. Its not worthy of the Civilization title.

It'll be decent. Seemed like a really engaging story to me. At first Norse mythology and cybernetic humanoids didn't really sound too appealing, but after playing the demo, i thought to myself, "oh I see". Gameplay mechanics did seem a little repetitive, but compare that to any game. Any FPS is just one huge repetition. Any turned based JRPG is one long repetition. All games use repetitive mechanics in some way or another. This one decided on juggling enemies with a sword or hammer in the air. Seems like a good of an idea as any other.

What makes a game stand out, and stay memorable for the ages is its story. FF7 for instance, the Metal Gear series, Resident Evil games, and even the halo series all had a compelling story. Yes graphics, sound, and gameplay are huge parts of what makes a game great, but the story holds it all together. And I think Too Human stands a fighting chance.

The demo was fun, by the way.
