I love E3, if only it was always like this.

Ah yes, the smell is in the air! The smell of new game announcements and megatons! Sure, it's not as intoxicating as before, but it still has the smell. I love E3. Best part of the year for games IMO. In fact, the only E3 I didn't like was last year. It was like it barely happened. But this one surely happened, and it was great! Microsoft showed off Banjo-Threeie, and they now have avatars and FF13! And Sony once again showed how incredible LBP is. But I don't a 360 or PS3 yet (and won't anytime soon unless they lower their price tags), so naturally I was more excited about Nintendo's one. I couldn't be on the actual forums much since I had to report the news on the System Wars Monthly thread AND the Gamespot servers crashed. So I watched the conferences on G4 alone. Even then, I knew what would be big. New 360 interface AND FF13. MotionPlus AND Voice Chat. GoW3 AND MAG. I couldn't wait to see their reactions. I was very excited about these announcements. I would have expected my fellow Sheep would also be excited. But they seemed to be raving mad. I don't know what happened. My first post was "The conference is NOW OVER. I will start listing the new stuff now!" But suddenly I was blasted with replies of bashing us and the news. I literally was surprised. I thought it was the usual damage control until I saw that most of them were also Nintendo supporters. Weird. Anyways, I never understood what the big deal was, even though they kept telling me how awful it was and it was their worst E3 ever. They must have been watching Gamespot's feed and missed parts of the conference. Oh well, I didn't and I was excited! Animal Crossing Wii was shown for the first time, which I thought was a surefire thing to celebrate about on Nintendo Dream. Then Saturo announced the teams that made Mario Galaxy and Zelda TP were working on a new game for Wii, and that fantastic news. Then they showed the voice chat solution that would encorporate the entire room instead of an ear piece, which was great. Also, MotionPlus was shown, and it's incredible. I didn't think you could do such presise motions with the remote, and they showed off Wii Sports Resort, which had Wave Racing and Sword fighting, which I expected to be HUGE over here. And then a personal satisfaction, Wii Music! I knew not many people would go jumping for this, but I have been waiting for this game for years. I noticed a distinct lack of the core titles that have been announced before E3 like Wario Land, Madworld, Sonic, Thge Conduit and those other games, bur since they are on the show floor and on Nintendo's E3 website, it wasn't such a big loss. Another great E3 year! I can't wait to see tomorrow's news (it doesn't end until Friday)! In other news, the ceiling fan of my room broke somehow (probably involving an exercise ball), so now it's hot in there. :(
