Update! It's been a while.

So, it's Wednesday, December 5th, 2007. It's been almost one year since I was last on this site. Well, last on it to do anything somewhat productive. I suppose I needed to leave in order to collect my thoughts. One can only take so much stupidity before it drives him or her mad. Basically, human ignorance. The majority of Gamespot's members are either too dysfunctional to be able to write one coherent comment or they're just plain stupid and not worth speaking to.

However, I'm not going to exclude myself from this. I've been known on occasion to rant and rant about issues or things I thought I knew something about and, on very rare occasions, learned that I really didn't know much about these things after all.

It wasn't until recently that I discovered just how wrong it is of me or anybody for that matter to force beliefs or knowledge down someone's throat. The day was November 25th, 2007. I was at my brother's house ready to be a part of the Thanksgiving feast that was to be had. But, as usual, something wasn't right. His fiancee'. I had no problems with her when they first met. It wasn't until a few months or so after that I was starting to be bombarded with religious speech and hate speech towards gays and other religions. She's one of those extremely religious and overzealous Catholics. I have no problem with people and their choice of religion but it's people like her that make me feel uncomfortable. I like to refer to her as a "converter." She constantly forces religious talk in front of me and will go on explaining how wrong it is to be a certain way because it goes against the Holy Bible.

After realizing just how much I hated this subjection, I then realized that I've done it to people all along. Mostly on YouTube and Gamespot. Particularly on YouTube. Granted, I wasn't issuing all together religious and hate speech to them, but rather telling their beliefs off and desperately trying to make them believe mine. Whether they be political beliefs or personal ones.

For those of you who are reading this and have been a victim of my ignorance, I sincerely apologize.

Now on to gaming news.

I've been playing a lot of the Nintendo Wii lately. I grabbed quite a few classics from the Virtual Console store. Games like "Ninja Gaiden," "Super Castlevania IV," "Super Mario Bros. 3," and "Super Metroid." I find it funny how many older games are just as freaking hard as some of today's. I wanted to chuck the Wiimote through the tv while playing "Super Castlevania IV." I couldn't believe that this game was as hard as it was. For me, anyways.

I've played a ton of "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption," beat "Super Paper Mario" and "Sonic and the Secret Rings." "Sonic" is actually a lot better than the reviews say it is. After one year and a lot of amazing games, including "Super Mario Galaxy," I've got to say that the people out there who will only play their games if they are truly next-gen and have the latest hardware and were betting that the Wii was going to be an extreme disappointment in sales and gameplay are now choking on their words. What's better for a company to hear? "Your system is so popular that we are having shortages," or "Yeah, we still have a full stock of systems of yours from last year in the back?" Don't get me wrong. I do plan on getting a PS3 someday. I'm sure I'll need the HD DVD player.

My Xbox 360 has taken a massivecrap (aka "Red Ring of Death") and is on its way to the repair center as I'm typing this. I'm sure it will take a good, long while to get back to me. But once it does, I'm really hankering to play some old Xbox games. Games like "Doom 3," "Splinter Cell," "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth," "Amped 2," "Mortal Kombat Deception," and "Half Life 2."

Until then, I'm going to catalog my entire game collection just for fun. I'm that bored.

Just bought a 360

I finally got my Xbox 360 yesterday. The premium one. Unfortunately I only had enough money for just the system.

Sorry. No game yet.

But I did go out and rent The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. That game is just as good as Morrowind. YAY! But bigger.

Now all I have to do is go out and buy my Xbox Live subscription and get Gears of War.

Just bought a Nintendo Wii

Bought mine about 3 or 4 weeks ago, kicked Ganon's ass, saved Rayman from prison, and I'm still loving it.

Now I just need to get the WiFi thingy, hook it up and download The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past when it's ready.
