Are people going to continue acting surprised every couple/few weeks an Xbox game or two are announced for the PS5 (or the upcoming Switch 2)? Phil quite literally said it's not in their best interest to keep games off other platforms moving forward and they don't intend to do so.

Like I said before, I'm not sure I really like this, but... if both have their own service, but I can only play all the games on one console then I'm moving forward with just PS, and if they offer gamepass on the PS eventually I'll sub to PS Extra and Gamepass.. hopefully they can bundle them into a package at some point.

That said I will buy another Xbox if they are the first to make a console/pc hybrid with the power and features of a next gen piece of hardware. If not however.. well unfortunately it's time for me to stop purchasing Xbox hardware and just support their software... which is what they want either way, so whatever.

@Litchie: Interesting, thanks for the heads up. Perhaps I should print one out from online if I can find one.. or just buy a different copy.

Astro Bot is way better in my opinion. Then we also have Mario Maker 2 which is probably in my top spot.

SONY have definitely made some head scratching decisions recently, but then again all three have. I'm sure they will all find their way soon. Either way things should be getting interesting in the near future.

I'm trying to make my way through Dune... and I don't care what anyone says, about 80-90 pages in, it's awful and makes no sense whatsoever at all. I've read online it really starts getting good around page 250 to 300... not sure I have that kind of patience though.

Don't get me wrong, I know there is rich lore and a lot going on, but just throwing around terms with no back story or explanation to what they mean and no glossary for a quick reference is ridiculous. Sure... it will probably all make sense 300 pages in, but then you'd have to go back and re-read the mess you didn't really understand to begin with, so you're just wasting your time.

Just my two cents, but if you're going to throw around family names, government branches, shadow agencies, history lessons, and nonsensical words with no context perhaps having a quick reference glossary would be helpful and entirely awesome, instead of just guessing at what it is or could mean or being completely confused just to find out 50 to 100 pages later it's inconsequential or a major part of the story and then be forced to go back for reference..

I'm trying to work myself through the sludge.. I really am.. but I don't know if I can do it.

I'm going to Barnes and Noble in a couple days, so I might check out Brandon Sanderson if anything catches my eye. If anyone else has any other suggestions throw them my way.

I don't see why this bothers anyone other than hardcore Xbox fans. I primarily play games online on my PS5, but I also own everything else. I prefer the Dual Sense Edge over any other controller, and I don't want the sticks askew. Either way, I have always supported Xbox and Nin and will continue to do so.

If MS wants to give me the chance to buy their games on PS then I'll buy them there and just not renew my gamepass sub. I'd rather own the games (if you even want to call it that since it's mostly digital these days) rather than rent them, however I've played a lot of under the radar games on both gamepass and ps extra that I probably would have never played otherwise.

If they ever offer a package deal on PS where I can get extra and gamepass all wrapped into one for a monthly fee I wouldn't think twice. However, if MS is he first to offer an actual console with a PC launcher like Steam or their own I will be first in line to get their next console, but if not I think I'll stop getting Xbox branded consoles since I already own the X and their plan moving forward is to make their games available on as many devices as possible.

For now there are a few games I want to play on Xbox that are releasing soon, because they haven't gone full blown multiplat just yet. Elder Scrolls VI, Avowed, Ark 2 (1 year exclusive), State of Decay 3, Fable, and Everwild (if it's still a thing) come to mind.

Damn... that's a tough question. I like so many different genres and there are very few I dislike. I suppose if I could only pick one I'd go with tactical shooters (or just shooters in general) though... since that covers many different genres and styles.. lol.

I also love card games like Poker/TCG, sports, RPG, MMO, puzzle, open world, platformer, fighting, action, party, coop, and most other competitive games.

About the only genres I'm not a huge fan of are RTS, MOBA, most visual novels, and Hero games like Overwatch and Rivals (some are OK, and I don't consider them in the same category as games like Rogue Company or Siege which I very much enjoy). That's not to say I don't like any games from those selected genres, but they are few and far inbetween.

@bcroger3: What in the hell does talking shit have anything to do with political views? If it bothers you so much then man up and tell him to stop.
