i love bowling. bowled on a league when i was a kid for prolly 5 years, then didnt bowl much for prolly 10 years or better, but just got back into last fall. i know a lot of people probably think of bowling as "boring" and "not exciting," which doesnt surprise me, especially if one doesnt truly understand the game. bowling is more than just throwing a ball straight down an alley. did you know that there is an angle of entry that when the ball hits the pocket, it will strike nearly everytime? and if you were throwing a straight ball you would have to throw it from 2 lanes over?? thats why bowlers throw hook balls. then youve got the adjustments. ball speed, different balls, different hand releases, moving closer or farther away from the foul line, playing a totally different part of the lane. these are just a few adjustments that can be made if the lanes start to break down. thats what i love about the game. theres a lot more to it than "just throwing" a ball. so much of the game is mental, not physical. thne if you bowl on a PBA oil condition, crap! i just finished a PBA Experience league this summer, and let me tell you- i have an all new appreciation for the pros. those conditions are SICK! but anyway, thats my rant for the day.

i think MacGyver is the greatest TV show of all time, personally. i mean, come on, it doesnt get any better. they say that the MAJORITY, not all, but the MAJORITY of the things he did in the show actually work. Mythbusters did a show dedicated to MacGyver a few months ago, and they were "busting" a lot of the things, but i think they suck haha. anyway, anyone who doesnt like MacGyver, youre entitled to your opinion, but youre prolly a communist anyway lol jk. maybe. i dunno. i dated a girl once who didnt like MacGyver. dunno how it lasted as long as it did haha. i started watching it with my dad when i was real little, so the show holds a special place in my heart. i think they shoulda came out with a movie or something. at least bring the show back on TV, you like MacGyver the Older Years or something. or maybe have MacGyver and then like a grandson or something. like the Young Indiana Jones. i mean c'mon. if they can bring friggin 90210 back, they can sure bring MacGyver back!!!! i hate 90210 too. ugh!! makes me throw up in my mouth....

anyone watch Criss Angel: Mindfreak?? the guys amazing. now i know a lot of people think its all fake and blah blah blah, but thats not the point. i know he cant walk on water, or friggin FLOAT between buildings. or walk through glass or levitate and god knows what else. but one has to admire the ability to make it SEEM as though he can do all of those things. i dunno maybe because i dabble in magic and sleight of hand i have a different perspective on it than most others...

just finished MGS4 for the second time. damn i love this game. i dunno what it is. i feel almost like im addicted to it lol. i played MGS1-4 starting with MGS3. wanted to play them in chronological order. i must admit it was fun playin MGS1 on the PS3. hadnt played that game in ages. a true gem. but anyway yeah MGS4 was just as good the 2nd time. hell ill prolly just go ahead and go through it a 3rd time. i wanna get enough dreban points to get the stealth camo. dunno what it is tho. i wonder if its like the stealth camo from MGS1 that Gray Fox used? if so itll be sweet. im still a ways away from it tho. only have like 600,000 pts. i think i need like 4 or 5 million. grrrrrrrr. guess ill just have to keep playin. i think i read online that when you complete the game like 40 times you get it. crap itll prolly take me that many times to get enough points away lol...

In a hopefully not too "strange" way, i found EVA to be totally hot in MGS3. haha. damn if only i were animated. i dunno how many people will read this, but does anyone else see any resemblence between EVA and Judy Greer?

never written a blog before. does that sound kind of sad?? here i am 25 years old, been on computers since god knows when, and never written a blog. haha. wonder why its called a "blog" anyway? i dunno. im sure enjoying gamespot.com. just signed up a couple days ago. should have signed up when i first started coming to this site. been coming here for quite a while now. ive always enjoyed video games. maybe not as much as some though. never been into online gaming either. i dunno why. im prolly afraid of it. if i got into online gaming, hell i wouldnt get anything done lol.

i sure hope they come out with more Metal Gear Solid games. ive read that they are. i just hope they can be trusted haha. after playing MGS4 and seeing what can be done with a video game, i just hope there will be more. they say that its the end for Solid Snake, which is kind of sad in a way. ive heard about the next MGS games being prequels, which i dont have a problem with, and that these prequels would focus around Big Boss, which again i have no problem with. MGS3 turned out excellent if you ask me. as long as they dont start focusing the games around Raiden. he annoys the hell outta me lol.
