I was reading this article earlier and noticed the op was advising overclockers to up the cpu core voltage in .5v increments, this is insane as adding one .5v increment to a cpu will fry it let alone more than one, if i take my cpu voltage as 1.2v and add .5v my vcore will be 1.7v, enough to kill a cpu fast, surely the op meant add .05v since later in the article he says "increase your voltage again in smaller 0.01 steps".
I wonder how many noobs have tried adding .5v to their cpu after reading this guide!
OP Quote: Remember that VCORE figure you noted down when the CPU was under load at stock speed? Take that figure (you might also find the figure listed in your BIOS) and add 0.5v to it.
OP Quote: Add another 0.5v to the VCORE and start increasing the multiplier again
