@Naquada@moxxidude: Parts of that segment were from when the stream was delayed for like an hour an a half because of technical issues (because of which Valve promptly also fired the production team) - instead of switching to a transition screen with music, they decided to fill the time and try to improvise and keep people watching, of course it's going to be dull when something unplanned like that pops up. Look up ASUS ROG 2012 highlights or 2GD in a nutshell if you like tasteless/ crude humor. Valve knowingly employed him - even at previous major events - told him to be himself and then here comes Gabe calling him an ass. Kind of hypocritical.
As someone who played and finished Dark Souls with KB+M and found the controls decent (I was desperate to play it and I despise playing anything with a gamepad other than fighting and sports games because I suck at using them), I can say that KB+M feel more than marginally better now. Though that doesn't really say much, because KB+M were, objectively, really AWFUL on Dark Souls, I'd still say it's probably (?) viable, albeit it would need a lot of getting used to.
Again though, this is all coming from someone who felt that KB+M were decent enough even in the first game, so yeah, not sure many people would agree with me. In the end, OBJECTIVELY, KB+M is still bad but not as much this time around. The only thing that bothered me a lot about both games are the damned gamepad prompts. Is that so hard to change?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uwAo8lcAC4I am not promoting this, but some pretty good points were brought up here regarding video-games and violence.
