£30-£40 for 360 and PS3 £25-£35 for Wii. That's in the UK. Never paid more than £40 for a brand new game.

PS3 - simply because it's what my friends all own. I have both consoles, but to play online with friends I'm going to need to buy the PS3 version.

The only things I don't own are any handhelds - however I don't really have much use for them seeing as I work full time and don't use public transport. So at the moment - no.

I loved Crackdown - I admit I only bought it for the Halo 3 beta invite, but I played it and was extremely impressed. I wasn't hyped for it and it completely surprised me. Up to now I have only played the demo of Infamous, and didn't enjoy it at all. I'm going to rent Infamous since people seem to be enjoying it a lot - so I'm going to give it a fair trial. Crackdown may have been repetitive, but then again so are a lot of games. It had a stunning multiplayer open world mode, a collectathon element that was actually enjoyable, decent graphics, and was basically a lot of fun to play.

From the review: "The frame rate occasionally struggles to keep up on all three platforms, and while there are some minor differences among them, the game looks colorful and attractive regardless of which version you choose. " To be honest, if the GAME is good on both platforms, the resolution is largely irrelevant. Professional review websites aren't making it out to be anything other than extremely minor, and that's if they even mention it at all. Yet all of you amateur 'know it alls' claim that it's an enormous difference and the end of the gaming world as we know it? Give me a break. I wonder if a lot of you are even interested in the games you play anyway or just wait for some small news to justify a purchase you made from a company that doesn't give a toss about you anyway. If you want it on PS3, get it on PS3. It's a good game and does justice to the Ghostbusters licence. For anyone interested in the game in the first place, that should be all the recommendation you need. Me? I'll probably get in on PS3 since it's out first on PS3. I don't want to wait for it on 360 just because of this non-news.

[QUOTE="Wootball"]How do people know the PS3 is a bad version too? Every review I have seen has failed to mention massive differences - just one or two graphical alterations.Bread_or_Decide
They take a few details and are blowing them out of proportion.

Gotcha. All I have seen in reviews is the PS3 version missing the embers when the proton streams burn walls and on Stay Puft. Hardly a deal breaker. I'm new here but people are weird... They're just games right?
