Majority of my time I am at work, live in Colorado Springs, any free time I do get I like to hang out with my friends and enjoy watching films and playing games. Anything I do I am more then likely listening to music while I do it.

Well March is finally here, I am attempting to get everything in order for the big day, trying too, Need too! But alas; its damn hard with so many games to play! I move in only about 10 days into my fancy new apartment! And here I am playing the oh so many great games to launce in just the first two months of 2010! Im screwed.
Aliens VS Predator launced this past month to pretty harsh reviews; I was quite excited for the game so I had the Hunters Edition pre ordered quite early. I wasnt expecting high praise for the game, but was still alittle taken aback to see GI and other sites giving it 5's and 6's before launce. Couple that with the shipping issues and I was getting alittle worried about my adventures with the ol Aliens and Predators. But pushing on the game can be quite fun. Its not a revolutionary title by any means, but it is a unique and fun game both in the campaign and multiplayer. It provides a solid FPS with three unique storylines if you traverse the single player portion. The graphics arent great but they are not bad by any means, and the sound design is done quite well. But the meat of the game is in the multiplayer; if you take the time to learn the controls and methods of play for each species you can no doubt dominate as any in the various multiplayer modes. It can be fun; especially with the right group of people. Not the harsh 5 or lower some claim, I would rank it a 7-8 depending on your enjoyment of the franchises and if you play multiplayer.
Now onto the next big game of February, Heavy Rain. I enjoyed Indigo Prophecy, it was unlike any game I had played at the time. So naturally I was quite excited for Heavy Rain, the possibilities of losing the main cast, the various routes the story can go, the great graphics, and hopefully a great story! The game was good. But it wasnt amazing! I enjoyed my time going through the story for the first time, taking about I believe 7-10 hours; but I wasnt blown away like some of the journalists in the industry were; giving it 9's and 10's. The presentation was very well done, the graphics are great, and story is decent too. But the action wasnt as hard hitting as I was hoping for, and the difficulty was very easy for me, never once coming close to feeling like I may lose a fight and thus a main character. The story is decent enough but like some have said it does have some plot holes or mean attempts at misdirection that dont quite make sense in the end. The game does have some replay value however in that depending on your actions or failure futar scenes can play out quite differently and bring about multiple endings. I will play through again on a harder difficulty, but I believe I may have been hoping for alittle more. Its a solid 8 however.
And finally, the game I had been excited about most of all. Battlefield Bad Company 2' or rather, Battlefield 2.5. A new Battlefield game that feels like a genuin sequal or evolution of the previous king of the series Battlefield 2. Brings back the returning class's such as Medic and Engineer, great destructability of the surrounding envrionment, great maps, vehicles and a nice experiance system for unlocking new equipment and tools. It even has a good campaign mode. It has it all. Multiplayer is the king of the hill right now, taking down Halo and Call of Duty in my opinion. Great balancing, great modes and strategy; every class is useful and unique. The game is just great and will provide any hours upon hours of solid playing. A 9 for sure since no game is ever perfect.
2010 is starting off hella good, and the rest of the year is sure to follow, even for the Wii! Which has some great looking games coming along from both Nintendo and third parties! Have GOW 3 collectors edition pre ordered which is sure to blow everyone away. Monster Hunter Tri for the wii as well. Im excited for my move and making the place look nice, and am excited to be living with my girl. This year is starting off pretty damn well.
