1) It's going to take some abysmal sales through February 2014 for them to seriously entertain the notion of selling a Kinectless SKU. 2) They have zero reason to drop the price because they won't even be able to keep them on the shelves.
I might sell my PS4 boxed if they start going up in price on Ebay. There are zero games I want for it on launch. I have 5 games bought and paid for on the XB1. I have just never been a big Sony fan. I am definitely more of an Xbox gamer through and through. All of the fanboy nonsense this year isn't changing that. I liked the console pre DRM reversal and I like it still.
He was probably one of those clowns I had to deal with in college who kept claiming Linux would take over by 2012. Microsoft had a net profit of 4 1/2 billion dollars. That was with surface manufacturing costs. Silly indie devs.
I like how the Sony kids are posting silly graphs from NVidia about GDDR5. You realize the entire purpose of the eSRAM in the Xbox One is to pass through high bandwidth data? It's not as good as having GDDR5, but the image showing 1GB of DDR3 being that much inferior to 512 GDDR5, is irrelevant in the context of these consoles. Too many people discussing hardware components that really shouldn't.
