Um. I am not good at this "blogging" thing.
I think I shall make my first blog about the current events in my life, just to put you through torture. Heheheh. No, I'm kidding. At least I hope I am. Well, we will find out, won't we?
I recently attended a Flyleaf concert and it rocked, of course. Lacey Mosley is a really wicked singer, and whoever you are, you should check out Flyleaf's CD. Anyway, I got stuck up in the crowd and people were squeezing the breathe out of me! I seriously could not get in any air... it was like suffocating to death. But it was all in good fun, I suppose. Unless they were they were trying to kill me, which could have been the case. : )= "Small Person Crushed To Death Beneath Adoring Fans". I'm not that small, more like everyone around me was really tall...
Coming up, if I get in, I will be performing a few songs in a "talent show", which is something I love to do as often as possible, and I am PSYCHED. I found out today that my application was approved and that try-outs are on Tuesday, so I shall be updating you on that a bit later. My guitarist is franticly trying to learn the song in time, but he feels a bit soft toward the lyrics of the song, since they remind him of when his mom died of cancer, I believe. Oh, I hear him talking about it now... yeesh, that's rough stuff. Sometimes I wonder how other artists keep themselves from bursting into random fits of hysterical tears onstage... I guess that can be good if you are an actor/actress, because sometimes they WANT you to burst into random fits of hysterical tears...
Oh, I forgot, the very same day of the show try-outs, Tuesday, I have an orchestra festival to go to. I play the violin. My violin is named Yvette (that's said "Evett", by the way). She is my friend, is a shiny midnight black, and in my mind, has an English accent.
I have finally managed to raise enough money for a decent stage show. Enough money where my guitarist said he would give me a show I would never forget. I'm not telling you how just in case somebody who knows me reads this and ruins everything. Problem is, now he's trying to back out of it! I shall keep you posted on that, too, and eventually tell you what I'm talking about. :0
During the summer, I'm supposed to be going to stay at The Empress Hotel, which is somewhere in Canada, and which is also supposed to be HAUNTED!!! How WICKED is that??? Shirley Temple went there once to escape rumors of a kidnapping, which also adds an air of mystery...
HA! A few months ago I was waiting with a friend in a hospital waiting room when I decided to buy "This is Halloween", a Nightmare Before Christmas Song, as my ringtone. Well, all of you who have heard that song might understand that when I decided to listen to it on 100% volume on my phone in front of the whole waiting room... things got a bit interesting. It was SO FUNNY because every single person (who were silently reading old magazines) in the waiting room was trying SO HARD not to look at us. In addition to that, it was as quiet as a grave in there... so when I clicked the button and the crazy sounds started pouring out like mad my friend and I started silently hysterically laughing like lunatics. I couldn't imagine what all of the strangers were thinking... I wonder if they were trying not to laugh, too.
Do you know what a really good song line is? "Grey would be the color if I had a heart."
I really love that line.
Later, for now. : )= Rock on.
