Hmm... no one's gonna read this, but for those who do... gems!

The small audience before is most deserving of the deep thoughts from the chasm of my mind... I'm not saying they're the secrets to life, the universe, everything, but they're some of the most innate thoughts to my being.

The Video Game war only exists because the fans, the consumers... THEY make it exist.  The so-called console war is merely competition between three competitors... it's business.  It's not a large conflict between three superpowers.  As far as I'm concerned, it's just three shoe stores messing around with prices and special kinds of shoes.

People would treat war as a horrible thing.  I see this "war" as a means for competition to boost the innovations that we see... Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will be doing their own little "Cold War" by racing to be the first to innovate, the first to be the most unique.  I look forward to whatever innovations there are in the future.

What I am NOT looking forward to is fanboys spouting elitist trash.  I don't care.  I don't read.  I don't respond.

I like to view the competition as a game of Risk.  Think about it.  The PS3 is not doing well, and Nintendo has the majority of Japan, with its quirky charm and cheapness.  Microsoft has no real ground territory, but is more spread out, through the U.S. and Europe, with sparse sales in Japan.

In my opinion, Japan is a lost cause.  If they really want to do something about it, then they should acquire some employees from Japan, ones that would truly know their own culture, and make them in charge of the "Japan Branch".  The rest of Microsoft should focus mainly on the U.S. and Europe.

Think about it!  Europe is often the most left out in game releases.  If I was European, I'd feel underappreciated.  If someone could take notice of us, I'd be, "great!  Where do I sign up?"  Microsoft can push the industry to include Europe in a fair share.  Are they just now getting Final Fantasy VII?  It seems like it.

Cost and loading times should be the focus of the innovation going on, not the graphics.  The graphics look fine... now can they focus on all the major annoyances?  Nintendo realized that too soon, and didn't focus on graphics.  However, since their competitors are still on a graphics binge, the Nintendo is left in the dust as the ugly cousin of the next gen consoles in terms of graphics.

Well, I have to go.  Tune in next week!
