Yes, buy one. Unless of course you can con some one into buying one for you. i love mine. I concider myself a PC gamer, but i love my Wii. The control is exceptional. i am truely amazed at how well it works. all of my gamer friends are hooked on it as well. they cant wait to get one, but they are still hard to find around here. i have seen them in a store once. ever. my aunt werks at a wal*mart and people still line up hours before they open on days Wiis come in. as to the graphics... no, they are not as good as high end PC graphics or even the other newer consoles. but they are really good. dont let screenshots fool you, they look much better. especially games designed for the Wii (Sonic for instance). all of the games with poor graphics are due to porting from inferior systems (PS2, GC). I was ready to call it quits on console gaming after the last gen. my old machines have been sitting in the closet for nearly a year. but the Wii has revitalized my interest in them. it is something DIFFERENT!!! a truely unique experience that pulls you into the game like nothing else. it makes games accessible to about anybody, but keeps it fun. the games like Wii Sports and WarioWare will appeal to anyone, while games like Sonic or the FPS games will keep "gamers" happy. FPS are great on the Wii. As a PC gamer, i couldnt enjoy the limitations of FPS games on consoles due to the awkward dual stick controls. Now i can enjoy them on a console.
Well, i guess a long question deserved a long answer. a huge spider just crawled across my keyboard. im going to catch it, stick it in the microwave, and let it bite me. maybe i will turn into spiderman?
