MW2 and BC2 are both helluva fun. I like this vid it was a good poke at MW2.

I'd recommend Nightfall as it has the most to offer out of the standalone expansions and seperate expansions. Heroes and skills etc.

If you like it then try and get the rest of the expansions it's worth it. Or you can sit around waiting for GW 2 :D . Mind you there are GW to GW2 incentives to get all the expansions and try to achieve as much as you can.

I'd have to say Bad Company 2 is driving me insane with the constant crash to desktop in single player campaign. :cry:
