Been browsing lately, yeah, and there was an apparent headline titling: "360 MGS4, next Grand Theft Auto IV Downloadable Content topping Microsoft's E3 lineup?"
Straight from the site:
" Metal Gear Solid 4 + Oxide, the long-rumored Xbox 360 port of the best-selling PlayStation 3 stealth action and GameSpot's 2008 Game of the Year. The announcement will be the finale of the presentation, apparently, although the game may the subject of Kojima Productions' May 18 mystery announcement."
To me, I think this is false, browsing around Google all day just trying to find this new "Metal Gear Solid IV + Oxide"?
Microsoft is just trying to bring on the hype for the next E3 Summer event, sure that's a good deal, but although why is no one hyped up for Microsoft's "Halo 3: ODST"? It's going to be the exact same thing as Metal Gear Solid IV, it's going to be a "new chapter" in the Halo universe, sure we don't know this new character as the renowned Solid Snake. When the Metal Gear Solid IV: "iPhone" application that was released in the last year or so people got perplexed because of the icon.
Ad for Metal Gear iPhone:
Pretty cool, right?
Now Microsofts Xbox 360 Icon:
Hey that looks like the same button as the Metal Gear ad!
Sure the button looks similar to the one on the power button, but it's a symbol. Example:
Exactly, so you'd be thinking the same thing, "Oh my god new Xbox game!" no it's just a power button, sure it has the exact same button. But it's wrong!
Rumor control is done. Thank you.
