I have seen 42 inch plasma's playing crysis in full hd so obviously the tv can handle it, I think it's just the games settings need to be 100% fixed with my resolution, cause my tv works beautiful with it just the games that havent worked yet. but thanks.
So if I want to play my pc games on my hdtv i have the change the game settings with a different moniter first? If im running at 1280 by 720 i should change the game settings too that right?
Hdmi cables are definetly not a cheap option since they are the only cable able to transfer hd quality, i bought my monster hdmi coard with the dvi to hdmi converter for 130 dolars, getting anything cheaper that is brand new is not going to get you what you are looking for, try walmart. Your looking at 100 plus dollars.
Hmmm the coard works fine because my graphics and everything else but the games work fine without problem so Im asssuming its the games, but how is it going to be any different, i've tried changing mysettings to like 1080 by 768 with no difference, so Im going to try and update my driver. Any further thoughts?
Hey there, I just recently hooked my pc up to my 42 inch Panasonic plasma hdtv. everything run great though my video card only supports up to 1280 by 720 as the resolution, but that's okay I'll probably upgrade soon. Okay my problem is everything seem to work fine, except when I try and play my pc games. Command and conquer 3 for example, and Counter strike soure. I get the audio, and I can hear the sounds of the menu....but it's a black screen, so im thinking maybe its a open gl problem or i need to switch the game to a different setting, but I cant see anythin so no luck. My pc is fairy good, 120 gb hard drive 2.8 p4 with 2 gb of ddr ram and my video card is a ati radeon 1950 pro 512 mg. Id like to play Crysis and such when I get a new card but for now I don't understand why it wont play cnc3. Any help would be great thanks.
