After playing this for a bit, I've come to the conclusion that BACKBREAKER is a fun game, and provides a nice arcade style experience, The Tackle Alley minigame is definitely fun, aand the tackling animations are really , really impressive. But when you play an actual game this is where you start to see the flaws, mainly the lack of depth in the playbook, audibles, and minor adjustments you make pre snap in Madden and NCAA that most football fans have come to love.Also the aimations tend to be a little hokey after a while as it feels looks like a hulked up Tecmo bowl. Passing in this game in something you need to get used to. And Then there's the OVERUSE of replay, and music. It seems fun at first but then it's just annoying. All in all it's a decent first attempt and it's a fun game to get to tide you over untill july or august, but it in no way is better than the EA games. it's a great pickup for casual football fans, but for the fans who want more depth within the game, Madden, and NCAA have nothing to worry about. and if you want right stick running, Both madden and NCAA employ the same controls this year. if you're a football fan like me, you'll probably Gamefly this, or buy it and trade it in July.
