I don't want to bash the wiimote, I think it's cool and original, but the wiimote can't play any games other than shooting and sportsstevendiep_100

You clearly haven't played any of the wiimakes..

Oh god yes! Give it me now!

Its more the setting which interests me over anything else, the crusades are just such an important part of history i love to see games embrace such things.

My only worry is all news on the PC version has gone dead, but maybe E3 will bring me hope.

I'm kinda worried the PC version won't control well, seems to be an issue with PC/console multiplats...don't really want to buy a PS3 just for this game, ya know?

This thread is fun because there are comments on reading levels, and no one has spelled dialogue properly yet.

I was thinking on a general level about this thread, and came up with this.

PS1 vs N64, the PS1 had the same mass market appeal that Wii now has, and attracted lots of new/casual gamers. I remember very vividly the new people playing FFVII. Anyways, I think new gamers have to come from somewhere, it happens every few generations (xbox + halo kinda pulled that trick with the frat boys last gen, i think), and I don't think the PS3 was going to do that with a 600 dollar price tag.

I don't, at all. You have to be selfish to expect as much as the people who feel that way do.

you are confusing "biggest" for most sales. Halo generates the most hype of any franchise. That is why it is the biggest, sales have nothing to do with itTheBigDrat

Shenmue had a load of hype and we see how that turned out.

I'm sorry but neither of those are considered the biggest franchises in gaming. And neither are close to actually being the biggest.

Good games, but you don't claim those rights after less than 10 years of existence.

The GTA series has been out since '98, so what's your point?

and before 3, GTA was a laughable series.

and right now Mario is a laughable franchise.

Nintendo is laughing all the way to the bank, nonetheless, and Super Paper Mario was a great game. I think by "laughable" you mean it isn't hip and cutting edge, which may be true, but those things don't contribute to anything being the biggest franchise.
