1. The wii doesn't get repetitive, but some of the games do, just like any other system.

2. The wii is arguably better on smaller tvs, people complain about the graphics on large lcd screens (i play on 37" lcd, doesn't bother me any)

3. Some people have reported hardware malfunctions, but I think its a significantly lower amount than the xbox's

4. Yes, but not many at the moment.

5. You can email people, browse the internet, check the weather, check the news, download virtual console games for a fee, and participate in a worldwide voting system

6. Not for a minute.

7. worth it depends on how much money you have available to you. if 250 dollars is a drop in the bucket, it is certainly worth it. if the kids won't be eating for a week because of it, no its not. i personally think it makes the perfect companion to one of the other systems, even tho i only have the wii

I love Super Mario 2 because it's so different from the first. And that ending....Reminds me of that show "Dallas".

There were so many firsts in this game.

First time that you can actually hold an object.

First time you have an health bar in the Super Mario series.

First time you can play as other characters besides the Mario Bros. And only time, if I'm not mistaken.

Final boss is not Bowser, which is nice for a change.

Travo_basic

in case you didn't know, the reason it was so different is because it was an entirely different game in japan, and was mario-ified for US release. believe the name of the original was doki doki panic or something

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]im really interested in how Bioshock will turn out, it looks great. Im also slightly interested in Blue Dragon.

Personally, August is all about Metroid Prime 3 for me.bluezy

Bioshock would be a nice pickup for me PC-wise, seeing as i have no 360. And August is a big Prime 3 month for me as well.

Some of those look cool, but I gotta say...I don't think Bioshock is a GOTY contender, as a 360 game without any multiplayer.Xerlaoth
What about Metroid Prime in 2002? No multiplayer.

Gamecube wasn't really a multiplayer-focused console. In almost all the single player games that come out on 360, I see "no multiplayer" under the cons, and they hack off .5 or so because of it.

Exception for me would be Oblivion, but Bioshock is an FPS, which they kinda expect some form of multiplayer from

No, Halo is a more edgy franchise, and that is what sells nowadays to the Mario generation.
