DS Lite ftw, they should have just made that with built in internet and they wouldnt need this. this doesn't look glossy either, which was actually pretty nice on the Lite lol
Nothing like WoW, Guild Wars (perhaps what it used to be), or Age of Conan, etc. But RuneScape, MapleStory, and a couple of others have some uniqueness. RuneScape members accounts are actually a lot of fun to play on.
Yeah wtf Crysis at 36 fps on Very High? On 1 GB VRAM? That's just ridiculous... I can get 60 fps on Oblivion using an Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256MB ram 128 bit. 512 bit 1 GB RAM runs Crysis at 36. I wonder what PC games will look like when someone can run Crysis on VH at 100 fps. I used to laugh at people saying consoles are the only way to go but now I'm starting to see why they weren't completely wrong. They should just make a mega GPU, and let that sit for at least 6 months, maybe making some minor changes for perfectionists. You could say that was the 8-9 series, but I would rather it be much better. BTW the 280 doesnt look THAT much better than last gen stuff.
Actually... I got my 360 back in a week after my brother yelled at the lady cause it was the 3rd time it happened to us... They also gave us a free month of Xbox Live. Anyway, yeah SSDs aren't ready to compete with standard HDDs. In a few years I bet they will replace what we have now.
Well, I saw some pictures on GamesRadar and they look a lot sharper...Anyway the Graphics do look okay here. (Emphasis on the "Okay"). The new weapons/equipment/vehicles look sick, and I'd buy the game even if it didn't have amazing grpahics. 1.Still in beta, time to improve 2.Pictures taken here don't look as good as in other places.
Add a web browser along with that keyboard and Im set. And stop arguing about 360 and PS3, they're both the same!!! PS3 just has cool features for more money, but really Xbox Live is nothing to complain about.
Wait, on Boot Camp, could I say, play a game like Guild Wars just like I could on Windows XP? Guild Wars doesn't run on Mac, but if it had WIndows XP... would that work? :O
My only concern is that, well, from what I've heard, Vista restricts a lot of things, like 3rd party antivirus and spyware detection as well as limiting what you can download as a user. WTH! Who cares if your downloading something Microsoft never heard of, it's not their computer. Talk about unconstitutional and against the 1st ammendment (Yeah you don't have to buy Vista but it's on the way to limiting your rights!). This could be all rumors and bashing, and if it is, I'm sorry. I just know I'll do some more research before buying a Vista-equipped PC.
