Whatever GS. It cracks me up they throw out these 6.0s out and they know its going to effect people's minds on that game.. So all of the sudden this dude comes out and writes a long essay about how we should not overlook 6.0 rated games. So then why the heck do you throw out scores then? Just write out a detailed review and let the gamer decide instead of throwing out scores and screwing with the game makers. People are like sheep... Anything below a certain number and they wont touch it.
Nintendo will come out with something spectacular.. but then 2 years after that, and you'll be seeing Microsoft and Sony come out with something mind blowing and far advanced than Nintendo. I believe Microsoft is going to come out strong like the 360. Now that they know Blu Ray is the "It" disc, i'm sure they will have it on their console and surpass everything.
benkaron Posted Apr 21, 2011 9:42 pm PT I agree with silence as an extremely important part of games. I am annoyed that Final Fantasy recently has continuing music without a true personality or connection to a character. My favorite music, and scene ever, is when Sephiroth kills Aerith. The music follows the holy materia as it pings its way down the stairs into the water. It is by far the most exceptional moment in video game story ---------------------- Yea.. just as I said in my previous post about the Final Fantasy series. That to me was the most epic and most emotional part in any video game. Till this day as a grown man.. I still get teary eyed watching that scene.
Music plays a huge roll for me. Theres games that I go back to playing because of its great soundtrack or perhaps a tune that I remember. Secret Of Mana for Snes had an awesome soundtrack that I would never forget. I believe Dark Cloud 2 had a great soundtrack. The Final Fantasy series had amazing songs as well.. Even Persona 3 does it for me.. I have those songs stuck in my head 24/7 and it brings me back to playing it on the psp. What about GTA Vice City. Wow! I feel like buying the game on amazon now just to cruise around listening to the radio.
