Hey guys I am having a problem with hooking up my PS3 slim to my monitor. I am using a HDMI to DVI cable to get picture and the composite cables for sound to my computer speakers. My monitor is a Acer X223w and is HDCP capable so it should not be a problem...right? Anyways I can get sound but no picture, it is very annoying to me because it worked before with my other PS3 and now it does not. I have also done a hard reset on my PS3 and it still says no signal on the screen but there is still sound so I am very confused. I dont think the DVI connector is bad because my computer works just fine. I have also tried 2 different HDMI to DVI cables with the same results and have also even used component cables to hook up the PS3 to a TV and it works fine. So please guys if you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

[QUOTE="GTR2addict"][QUOTE="anshul89"]Good for you then. But that's not what happened to me :x

anshul89

where do you live? your location could be a big factor

Yeah there's lots of dust in these areas. Anyway, how far should I push my i7 ? :)

Well first off let me tell you the Corsair H50 is a great cpu cooler and I think you made a good choice. But I see you have your Core i7 at 3.8 right now and I am assuming it runs stable. I think you could easily get that Core i7 at 4.0ghz on the Corsair H50 as you can see mine runs at that speed using the Corsair H50 and my temps are good. What is your Vcore voltage for your i7 and what stepping?

Different strokes for different folks. Really want it comes down to is what you are comfortable with. Me personally I perfer playing games on PC when possible but most people dont have a computer like me to play games or the knowledge to build one and then install all the drivers and then troubleshoot when you have a PC problem. Plus lets face it consoles are alot cheaper and can play all the great games out without worrying about if it will run or not. Honestly though I do not mind sitting on the couch playing Gears of War 2 or Uncharted 2 matter in fact I have a blast but I would still perfer playing it on PC. I am a graphics whore and to me playing Crysis on Very High at 1680x1050 with 4xaa is virtual sex. So that is where PC woops consoles is in the graphics department but it costs alot of money for eye candy on PC and thats where most people would perfer console.

Thanks for your input Nameless player but I really do not know how to overclock and from what I have read the MSI P7N SLI-FI is not that great of a overclocker that is why I was thinking about upgrading to a ASUS Rampage Formula and then trying to overclock. But if you could tell me how to overclock that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone I am really wondering on if I should upgrade my rig in a couple months. Here are my current system specs

Case: Antec Three Hundred

GPU: GTX 260

CPU: Q6600

Memory: 8GB Nvidia SLI OCZ

Motherboard: MSI P7N SLI-FI

PSU: 850 watt Thermaltake Key 3 Spirit

OS: Windows Vista Home Preminium 64 bit SP2

I am happy with my current setup but my motherboard is not the best for overclockng and I was thinking about upgrading it to a Asus Rampage Formula. Then I thought maybe I should just upgrade to a Core i7 920 and build a new rig all together. So my question is should I upgrade to a Core i7 or just upgrade my current motherboard to the Asus Rampage Formula? Also is there a reason for me with a Q6600 to really upgrade to a Core i7 when all I am doing is gaming? Then I thought it might be nice to have a socket 1366 CPU so I can upgrade in the future. What should I do guys I am really not sure myself.

First of all, let's assume you do have a best friend and that God's exist. So let's say for whatever reason some crazed God from the planet Xenos comes to visit you... And this God loves to torment individuals by having them to make incredibly hard choices. In this case, he wants you to kill your best friend in a very cold blooded way, up to you which way, but it has to be something like setting him on fire or beating him to death with a hammer. All this in exchange for the survival for humanity, he won't blow up the planet or something. However keep in mind, the consequences of killing your friend are not just him being dead, the authorities will get a hold of you. So, what do you choose, and in what way will you kill your friend? edit: And killing yourself will make the god angry and blow up the world regardless. WhiteSnake5000

I have always said kill one save a million. So in answer to your question yes but it would be extremely difficult for me but for humanity I would do it.

Well if someone has a disability they can get money each month, so should I try to get money that way or get a job??
Anxiety is a disability and I've had bad anxiety ever since I was a kid, so could I get disability money??

Don't say I should get therapy cause I've already had therapy a few times and it never helped.

joshrocks2245

Yes, you should get a job. Look I get panic attacks all the time and have terrible anxiety every single day and never once have I thought about getting disability. Imagine if everyone got on disability the world would be full of a bunch of morons that cant work because there finger hurts.
