We've been working on it in our free time for almost 6 months now. Just using what we have, so the cost isn't that high yet. We hope to sell alot, seeing as how a lot of the indie games are just shovelware toss away games. We wanted to make something people could actually sit down and play and enjoy like the old school 2d games from back in the day. With 25 full levels and 3 secret levels, it should be as big as an NES game. The split with microsoft is 70/30, so we hope to make as many sales as we can!

Nomis: Legacy Islands is a classic 2D platformer where you take the role of Simon, an airship smuggler, trying to stop the Command and their robot army from collecting the key pieces and creating a super weapon. Along with Lucke your partner and mechanic and a bodyguard robot named Lobo-8 you must save the world of Nomis!Play the game your way!

- Use stealth and hide in the shadows to dodge and strike your opponents from behind!

- Use the right stick aim mechanic to line up that perfect shot!

- Just go in guns a blazing and hope for the best!

But you don't have to go it alone! This game features complete two player local co-op
play! Have a friend jump in and help you take on the hordes of robots as you search the
islands for the key pieces and save the world.

Weapons not doing enough damage? Need that extra boost? Use your collected items to
upgrade your weapons! Or stop at Pappy's Scrap Shop and buy some upgrades for yourself!

Remember to scour the worlds for hidden artifacts and items that will allow you to come
back to old areas and reach places you couldn't before.

Don't forget about the awards! There is a complete list of awards to unlock and stamps
to collect!

Expected release in spring 2010 on Xbox live indie games.

I'm going to have to say Ghostbusters. I grew up watching those movies, I was obsessed with them as a kid, and the cartoon also. So finally having a good looking Ghostbuster game coming out is just awesome! Still hoping for some solid real news on the "Delay".

I think they could really keep that same feeling of awe when you first entered Rapture in a prequel game! They should really make one where you see Rapture how it was when it was first built, I want to see how it was back before it got ripped apart by the war. They could have it set just before the civil war started between Fontaine and Ryan and you could play a spy for one of the sides, or something. I don't know, I just think it would be really cool to see the sides fighting and the wonder that is Rapture back in its hay day! The Big Daddy and the little sisters being put to use for the first time. It would almost have a "Noir" like quality to it I think. I just love the atmosphere in the game and I would love to revisit it again.

What I got out of it was, that Jack basically took over Rapture, sent up those mini sub things to the surface and released splicers out into the world, and a submarine that was investigating the place crash got jumped by the splicers. The crew is killed and you and your army of splicers have a nuclear warhead at your disposal to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!

would you kindly...

I just finished this last night. You don't have to read it to understand the game, but it really sets up the story and gives you a lot of background information on some characters. It explains why Seran is the bad-guy in the game and a few other things, but I'm sure all the necessary information will be in the game. Get the book anyway if you are excited for the game, its a good read! NOVEMBER NEEDS TO HURRY AND GET HERE!

Have any of you seen the movie Children of Men? Granted its not a vidoegame movie but I think the director of that movie, Alfonso CuarĂ³n, would be really good behind the camera on a Gears of War film. The last 10 mins of Children of Men just felt like a Gears movie to me, it even had the roadie run! and the man has also done a Harry Potter film, which was alright for what it was, but he has dabled in that realm of fantasy epic, which Gears of War is. I think he could bring a gritty realism to the movie and it wouldnt be an over the top CGI fest that most movies now days turn into, I want to see Saving Private Ryan against Locusts!
