Some of the charts on the tests I’ve seen against the 4090 are laughable in non DLSS4 situations, which will be 99.9% of everyone’s library. Card might as well be called the 4090ti.

Never thought I'd see a stickied roll call thread with a 4 month lapse of activity. Just reading through the last few pages, wild how many eras came and went, even after mine. Sending nothing but positivity and love to old familiar faces and those I never got to meet. This was a very special forum and while re-designs do affect traffic, I truly do think almost all online forums (even my own separate sites) have been greatly affected by the social media age sadly, that's the main culprit. Take care everyone, I'll try and check in a bit more often.

It was incredible when it released for Xbox and that it was a console game, that was the punch line for me at least. By the time it came to PC, as a PC gamer, I think it being a known entity already made it desirable but not as "impressive." It was just nice to have what was already Halo on PC. Half Life 2 amazed me in ways Halo never dreamt of and this is coming from someone who played and still plays Halo somewhat competitively.

Was playing this game regularly at CTF NYC back when I joined this forum, can't believe we're at it again. Full circle. Can't wait to play MvC2 another decade.

It really depends on the game. The biggest thing for me is art style, if it's lost completely then it's a loss. ie: Halo CE vs CEA. But if it's a fresh take ala RE '96 to REmake, I can accept it as its own thing. TLOU to TLOU Part I is something a lot more faithful, also welcomed.

Was definitely excited for a remake, but to have it back and on PC, I'm all about it.

Graphic design was always my thing, it's funny because I thank GameSpot forums for getting me into making signature graphics way back when. I used it to create some fan sites then as well. I later worked at design departments within companies and in a firm as well, which was much more varied and fun. Now however I create the designs for my own business Clean Culture. It's an auto event that has us traveling the country as well as Canada and Japan now. Though a car show, I still get to use my design for brand identity, clothing, promotional flyers (which every participant gets custom), etc.

Absolutely starving at this point when it comes to Factions, this would have at least been a nice stop gap if it had co-op. The mode itself does look promising though, I'm excited to put that fantastic gameplay engine to use.

Just praying for THE FINALS to get an "out now" style trailer, that would immediately make this the best TGA for me. The game is so much fun, whether sweating or goofing it's always a good time... reminiscent of prime Halo. Beyond that looking forward to some surprise reveals. Going to attend in person.
