I'm just too good at poker :(
by Yarcofin on Comments
Recently I've started playing poker on Pokerstars.net again. I make an average of about $10,000 a night, so I decided that I would get rid of all my money and start over, so that I could keep a detailled Excel spreadsheet each day of how much I win/lose and see how it goes.
.So I started last night with $40,000 in my account figuring I could get rid of it all within a few hands... nope. I'm just way too lucky. The lowest I got was down to $812, which somehow made it back up to $100,000 before I finally gave up and signed off for the night.
I went back just now to try the same thing, split 33,000 between 3 tables. It's about 20 minutes later now, and I've left again with $293,564 o_O. So I think I'm just going to give up on the "going broke" idea, and see how long it will take me to make it up to $1,000,000.
Here are some previous moments of greatness in my poker history.... ah nevermind, photobucket is being retarded.

Grapple: The Grape-Flavoured Apple
by Yarcofin on Comments
You may or may not have noticed my very subtle reference to Grāpple in my last blog.
In case anybody wanted my final verdict on Grāpple to keep with the longstanding tradition of rating exotic/weird fruit I eat...... it's not worth it.
From what I can discern (the process is highly top-secret,) a grapple is created by soaking a fuji apple in pure grape juice, perhaps it is also watered or grown hydroponically in grape juice to maximize absorption as it grows.
I don't know what this species of apple tasted like before it was adjusted so I can't say for sure how different it is, but it seems like only a hint of flavour. I wouldn't even describe the flavour as grape. It just tastes... "pink", since I can't put an actual taste to it. It's basically just a little sweeter than a regular apple... and like I said since I've never tried a Fuji apple I can't be sure. I was expecting it to be exponentially more grape-flavoured. And at $4.99 for 4, the experience does not justify the price... just eat a regular apple.
On a side note, something down here smells like burning plastic. I can't tell what, so I'm going to assume it's my computer.
Yep... it was the monitor. I turned it off as it began to do a weird "interference" kind of wavy signal thing. Then I turned it back on to see if maybe it just overheated... bad idea. There was a loud popping sound about as loud as a cap gun. I'm now typing on my old Compaq monitor for my other computer with Windows 3.1 on it. The screen is about 3 inches smaller and for some weird reason, it isn't designed to adjust horizontally/vertically to fit the whole screen. The screen is also curved for some strange reason so it's making things look very weird and giving me a bit of a headache. I guess it's time to start looking for a new monitor (/computer):P.
When are people going to wake up?

"The State of Maryland has now turned to Gestapo tactics to force its medical will upon the People, stripping parents of any right to decide how they wish to protect their own children from infectious disease. Health authorities there have already announced their intent to essentially kidnap parents and throw them in jail, removing them from their children for up to thirty days if they continue to refuse to have their children vaccinated. This will all be conducted at gunpoint, with armed personnel and attack dogs at the ready, making sure nobody steps out of line, and suppressing any attempt at public dissent against the Orwellian vaccination policies."
You would think something like that would be enough to incite a violent reaction, or at least some form of protest... but apparently not. At least one group is trying to make a stand:
In case you were wondering what is inside of those vaccinations, here you go. The fact that more than one type of vaccination contains fermaldahyde and mercury is enough to convince me.
Dear Immigrants: Stop Stealing Our Fish!

Mangos: The Final Verdict

They taste like cough syrup, mixed with pinetree sap.
Yet oddly enough you keep eating.
I was also expecting them to be red inside... I was apparently thinking of a papaya. They're more like an extremely mutated peach.
"Crank Dat" = Worst Song Ever

Normally I can appreciate some level of talent in any kind of music, even if I don't particularly like it. But this particular artist/song has absolutely none. I have literally heard three year olds with down syndrome come up with better lines, and perform them better.
Allow me to summarize the entire song for you:
*incomprehensible mumbling*
SOULJAH BOY.
OHHHHHHHH!
CRANK DAT SONG.
SUPERMAN.
OHHHHHHHH!
YOUUUUUUUU.
(Repeat ad infinitum.)

My computer is pretty well falling apart now. Starting yesterday Window Washer stopped working and said to re-install it, although it opened it just wouldn't do anything and gave an error code whenever you click anything. Now my firewall has disappeared from the start menu, along with everything else besides the volumn. I just tried to open MSN and it launches an install program for MSN 7.0 (which I have installed, and worked this morning before school), which also fails. Then it doesn't close when I click OK (instantly opens the same error) so I have to end the task manually. I'm anticipating that my web browser will be next to go.
I just tried to uninstall MSN Messenger and it gave me an error "Couldnotopenkey:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Currentversion/Installer/UpgradeCodes/(long string of numbers.)
Now to try deleting MSN manually and reinstalling from the website. Nope, that won't work.... Windows Live requires XP or Vista and the old MSN isn't available "File expects a newer version of Windows. Upgrade your Windows version", followed by a "A device attached to the system is not functioning" error. Now to try reinstalling from the 6.2 install I have on my computer. Nope... it's saying I still have a newer version of MSN, and to uninstall it the way that didn't work. Let's try Web Messenger.... nope, Opera is blocking popups and when I click them to allow, the page is just blank. Allow popups.... okay, now I've got Web Messenger.
I guess I should probably start backing some stuff up.... which took 20 minutes to find my ****ing USB drive since my mom rearranged everything into the most illogical place possible after painting my room, and I now have drawers that slice my thumbs open when I try to open them. *stroke* Now to spend an hour transferring 2 GB of data.
