Recently, I was lucky enough to score an early Christmas present. While my computer may be crappy, that doesn't mean it's screen has to be too! I recently purchased myself a nice little 17 in. LCD computer monitor, and it was pretty cheap for what it is too! It was only $210 (it was on sale), and here is a link to it's page on the website to the store that I bought it at.
