Finally, a gangster-themed game that tells an interesting narrative and offers a great gaming experience
As you may already know, recent I bought a number of beat'em ups to sate my gaming appetite in these lazy summer months. In all, there were five: Death by Degrees, The Bouncer, Urban Reign, Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance,... Read Full Review

Though not nearly as horrific as the critics would have you believe, several glaring problems drag down the experience.
Over the past few years, there have a number of games introduced into the beat'em up genre, and for the most part have met with lackluster reviews. Being an RPG player primarily, I passed over most of these upon reading ... Read Full Review

One of the best RPGs from the PS2's early days, ill fated enough to arrive just days before Final Fantasy X.
Let's be truthful: there were a number of great games to come out during the holiday season of 2001 on the PS2. But unfortunately, most were dwarfed by the juggernaut that was Final Fantasy X, since it was by far the mos... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy X is an experience that lives with you long after the ending credits, which to me is reason enough to play
Coming just before Christmas, Final Fantasy X was the definitive roleplaying game of the Playstation 2, dwarfing an of it's competition by leaps and bounds. And it wasn't just the name that got players attention: this in... Read Full Review

While not the best RPG out there, it has an old-school feel that many can appreciate.
It's not the most revolutionary, nor the most engrossing. You won't be on the edge of your seat, nor will you be crying your eyes out. Arc the Lad: Twilight of Spirits is simply an RPG that presents a decent story for yo... Read Full Review

You'd be hard pressed to find a reason not to enjoy this game, unless of course roleplaying games aren't your thing.
Let's face it: the Playstation 2 has the greatest abundance of RPGs on any of the current consoles. We've seen everything from .hack to Shin Megami Tensei so far, and 2005 promises to deliver equally impressive content. ... Read Full Review
