I beat this game a few weeks ago, and I must say, it's one of my favorites of this year, and ranks on my all-time favorites list. The plot is funny and well-written, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. I like that, because most modern RPGs tend to take themselves way too seriously. Mario and Luigi play great as always, but the Bowser parts are pretty amazing as well. The battles are great, because landing or dodging a hit are based on timing and skill, rather than on luck. They are always fast-pased, and the bosses prove a challenge. The overworld and dungeons look beautiful, and there's a lot to do in them. And last but not least, the soundtrack, written by Kingdom Hearts composer, Yoko Shimomura, is amazing and fits every part of the game very well. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who hasn't played it yet, and if you have, feel free to discuss it here.
