Hello. My name is Yonatan. I am also known as Yonkid. I got the name from my brother, who called himself Zidokid. Now I just usually choose other names, like "Hydralisk", "Breakoff", "Physician" and more (I usually don't recycle names). My hobbies are Swimming, Doing Karate, Watching TV/Playing my Xbox 360, Going out with friends and more.
Over 9000 reasons in 3 discs
So you ask, why am I so excited about Blue Dragon? This game is combination of Timing, Skill, and tons of fun. In this game, you have 2 factors: Your Level and your Shadow Level. Let's not mention that you have a wide variety of Shadow Classes, let's say, 8 or so. The simple Level has hardly any importance, while the Shadow Level is the important one. You can be a level 99 with no shadow and deal 200 damage, while being a level 1 with a 99 Shadow (Impossible, but theoretticaly) and deal up to 1.5k damage easily.
I bet you're asking, what makes the Shadow so epic? First of all, Shadow's give you more stats each Level. Second, these Shadows give skills as "Charged Attack", which let's you Charge an attack for a harder hit, "Double Strike" which hits twice (There's no catch to this skill, it is supremely epic), "Double Cast" which gives you the priority to cast 2 different or same spells, and more overpowered stuff. Let's compare stats. When I lost my shadows at a specific stage of the game, I had a level 60 character who had around 100 attack, dealing very low damage. When I got my shadow back with this specific character, he had around 650 attack and a few more epic skills, such as the famous "Double Strike".
Here comes another reason to play: The World map. When you get your mechat, a flying machine, you can travel ANYWHERE you want. Over mountains, hidden zones, places above the Sea and more. Although you only get this machine at the third disc. You may think that you finished the game, but no, this game is very long. 50+ hours of endless fun.
I hope that if you buy this game, you'll have as much fun as I had!
Reminder: You may want to farm monsters for levels. ALOT.
