Well implemented permadeath is a nice addition to a game, adding a whole new level of difficulty, to show off your achievements or e-peen. For example hardcore mode in Diablo 2.
Was a nice read, thanks for postin' it. Fun to know about the pretty humble beginnings of one of the biggest studios at the moment. And project hydra sounds quite intriguing indeed :P.
Oh my. As a new member, I've been thinking what else does registration to the site offer me other than the current AoC PvP beta thats going on, but this sounds really nice. Don't have to juggle between 2 or 3 sites to keep track of your games, what your playing/what you've beaten and reviews etc.
