Games To Look forward to (pre E3)
Xbox 360
- GEARS OF WAR 2
- FABLE 2
- TOO HUMAN
- BANJO: NUT & BOLTS
PS3
- LITTLE BIG PLANET
- HOME (IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT A GAME)
(You guys can help me remember some more)
And one more thing, you don't need a Gold membership to get to the Marketplace. You can do it with just a Silver membership. The fifty dollars goes to paying for servers. I expect Sony might charge for Home after a while because of servers too.
I hate to see the bias fanboy on this forum. Why is everyone arguing over a simple answer. The Xbox 360 is the best system if you want good games now. The Wii is good if you have little kids, and you want to ease them into gaming, and the Playstation 3 is the console that will be awesome in three years.
I'm lucky enough to have all three consoles now (I just got a Wii, YAY!!!) If God came down from the heavens and told me I could only have one console, I would pick the 360. I want all the cool games now, I don't want to wait 2 years for FF13. For all the PS3 fanboys the 360 has a online magazine Qore like thing too called Inside Xbox and it's free...so suck on that!!!
you shouldn't have to pay for Live! periodfootfoe2
You're not only paying to play online, your paying for a service like none other. Your $50 pays for a communtity, it's not perfect but few things are.
you shouldn't have to pay for an extra hd-dvd external player or a Wi-fi adapter either.footfoe2
I didn't buy the HD-DVD drive, you don't need it, but if you want the choice then you can buy it. I do have the Wi-Fi adapter and at the time the price of the wi-fi adapter and a premuim 360 was still cheaper then a top of the line PS3.
I've been reading this post for a while now and I have seen how stupid this argument is. Just play the games you want to play no matter the console. Alone In The Dark comes out tomorrow, if you only have a Xbox 360 get it on the 360, and if you have a PS3 get it on the PS3. If you have a Wii then your pretty much alone in the dark, to coin a saying.
I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3. I personality prefer to play games on my 360 because of Live, the marketplace and always being connected to my friends. But I still love my PS3 because it has some of my favorite games. (FF and MGS) I feel like an a-hole for buying a game that has a major mulitplayer features on the PS3, because I don't get all the features I'm so used to on Live. I think 2008 is the 360's year to lose, and if they do somehow lose, then their might lose the rest of this generation.
