As if you hadn't had enough of everyone and their dog talking about the Beta of Halo!

I'm quite enjoying mucking around in slayer and shooting people in the face, it's always good clean fun. I'm still hoping they speed up the matchmaking service as, at times i've been waiting for a good 5 or so minutes to connect to a group of players. This leaves me twiddling my thumbs and looking bored. I do like the save video functionality and i'm hoping the features they add to this could possibly lead to some good offline viewing. And as stated by the developers, it might level the playing field for newer players by being able to analyze the tactics of more experienced players. The mute feature is all kinds of awesome. Your such a noo...(mute!) Once the weapons have been fleshed out and more levels become available I have doubt it's going to be a robust enjoyable shooter.

While Halo3 is by no means going to be the all singing, shooter beating multiplayer behemoth that most fanboys are making out. It does however seem like bungie have a robust and very enjoyable experience for fans.

Roll on the full game in september!
