Yes, I love it. I don't even have to talk to them to get what I want. Just one more reason to love summer. But it's almost never worse than wearing a bikini so I don't see why it matters.

Part of an episode of Walker: Texas Ranger was filmed at my house. Also, a commercial one time. Dallas was also filmed in my city.

I agree with it when it saves space or money, which a lot of it does. My biggest gripe is the whole hybrid car stuff and how companies are moving towards smaller engines with turbos.

The F-22 is completely useless. It's built for air superiority in an age where there is no air opposition. It can't take off of carriers and isn't good for air to ground, which is all the USA does anymore. And, the US doesn't want to send it into any combat situations because losing one would not only cost a ton of money, it would also end up with the Russians/Chinese getting some of the technology of the downed plane (most likely). To my knowledge, they don't have any external fuel tanks that are stealth, it has a very limited range, compounded with its inability to take off from carriers, it can't even do much if it can reach the combat area.

I know the five pillars, have read parts of the Quran, and learned of its historical origins. I still think it is, by far, the most militant/violent of the major faiths.

[QUOTE="James161324"]

This isn't look good, i have a feeling its going to be iraq all over again.

Except no US ground troops will be sent in. Not sure about other countries, though.

It's just a no-fly zone for the time being. They aren't even planning on doing anything but air support essentially. And there's already a government set up by the rebels. It's MUCH closer to what the Balkans were like in the 90's or Desert Storm than the current Iraq situation.

Here comes the "war for oil" people..in huge waves and thousands of mindless threads.!!!

Kcube

Before it begins, note that Libya only produces 2.2% of the world's oil.

Imposing a no-fly zone is an act of war, so it is sort of a war. And the US/UK have launched a total of 110 cruise missiles and French planes have destroyed several targets, including at least one Libyan war plane. It's kind of a war.

I'm saddened that the San Andreas fault is due for an earthquake, so there'll probably be more fuel for this crap.

Even in Vietnam, we did pretty damn well, just lost support so we kind of had to lose (to my knowledge we never even lost a major battle in Vietnam). The US lost about 58,000 men, while North Vietnam lost about 1,176,000 men. Those are military casualties and don't include civilian casualties. So even in the worst possible environment for the US to fight in, it was still essentially domination.
