GameSpot just posted a story on the new update to the warranty information for the 360.

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6207887.html?tag=latestheadlines;title;1

I'm glad to see that Microsoft is continuing to analyze their errors and rightly rewarding the consumers. It's too bad that the 360 still has the exclusives I want to play rather than the PS3 or Wii. That's the only thing tying me to the console. I wrote about the error and some of my experiences here:

As many MMOs as I've played in the past, Jumpgate looks like it's going to be a hell of a good time. I just hope it doesn't drop off like Earth & Beyond did a while back. We sure could use more flight-sims too.

As far as music games go I'm definitely partial to Rock Band. I like the songs and interface much better than Guitar Hero, but despite Harmonix not being there, it all did start with Guitar Hero. This article focuses on the new game due out this summer called Smash Hits. You see, it's just a rehashed version of the games we already bought. You can check the article out here:

You all know how addicting achievements can be. I, however, think it's a shoddy system lacking imagination. It could be so much better in every single way.

What do you all think? I'd rather have achievements and trophies that actually meant something.

Yes I wrote this article and yes I'm looking for opinions. Also, if you're curious about the map pack and how the maps play then you'll want to check out the video I made.

Being a big Gears fan, it was hard not to buy the new maps. I almost didn't buy the maps just because of the shoddy job Epic has done with their game. Thankfully though, these maps are well worth it.

The written article and video are right here. GameSpot won't let me embed the video for some reason.

Some of you know that Jeff Kaplan spoke at GDC this year about the mistakes World of Warcraft has made. However, the problems listed are the tip of the iceberg and this article gives him a helping hand.

I'd have hyperlinked it but gamespot always freaks out on me. The URL is too long to post it normally anyway.

Alright, so the patch has been out for a few days or so now and it's a damn good thing it did. I'm a Gears fan and I'm happy to see the fixes they made. I really just wish that they decided to do this a lot sooner.

The NXE is a nice addition to the 360, but the party chat really does take away from certain online games.

The article is found right here: http://tinyurl.com/c2qpe7

It's neat to look at our favorite games and see what things they didn't implement into the core gameplay. Of course, there's a bunch of thingss they didn't use purposely.
