other than gaming.. just watch movies, store music, use word when needed.. oh and I need Photoshop, C++ and Visual basic & Visual Studio (probably I'll install Ubuntu as well).. but nothing more.. I need a laptop because I intend to finish my studies in another country, and I can't possibly get my PC with me :D

I am not from the UK either, I'm from Romania, And G73 is around 2000$ here.

And the one that you just showed me is a G53.

What do you think about the G53, anyway?? (the one with i7, and GTX 460M)

My budget is of 1600 USD! and the Asus G73 is (unfortunately) getting out of the budget. And sorry for forgetting to mention this: if I buy the Acer 8943g I intend to also get about 8 more GB of RAM, so that the total amount will get to 12 (the laptop supports maximum 16 GB of RAM).

I want to buy an XBOX 360 (and I don't want to go for the 4 gb buntle).

I was wondering if it's possible to attach an external HDD to the console, so that I could buy the XBOX with the harddrive. I already have an externma HDD of 500 gb that I'm not really using and I would love if I could use it this way.
