Today is my Late father's Birthday. Oh how I miss him and all the games we played! Oh the days of pong, text based C64 games, jumpman, loom, the secret of monkey island, battle chess, poker, Uno, and the first network game I ever played not sure what the name was but it had geometric shapic space ships and you shot at each other, boy we have come a long way. I was just wondering if I will actually go back to SWG to fiddle around with jump to light speed. I have lots of friends that would love to have me back and some of them still have my house, extractors and loads of money, but I'm just not sure it peaks my interest anymore. I will just wait and see if it is as great as the beta test claims it is. I am a skeptic! Flying space ships in a starwars MMO may sound great but it's just another pain in the but money sink that us casual players can't afford. Games should be fun and exicting not frustrating time sucking wastes of megabytes! I should just move on to WOW or EQ2! I have never played EQ1 but when my friends played it never appealed to me. Blizzard makes some fun games but I don't really care for their style of graphics and graphics are a big deal to me. If a game is really fun and has poor graphics I only play it for a day or two but I will play a poor game with great graphics for weeks. Anyway maybe I will just keep waitingand watching this evolution of MMOs till I find one right for me.

Life is just one big cheese ball! Hope that my light saber weilding mechwarrior with wing and blood sucking ability doesn't get nerfed by the devs! oh no too late! Well Maybe my laser pistol toting elf ranger with a corvette and time travel device will go unnoticed. Time to turn the competition into strawberry flavored cream of wheat! Why can we not get a decent MMO with a reasonable online monthly fee? Well first jimmy there are no decent MMO's out there to begin with and two the game companies and their investers are greedy and we video game nuts are so addicted and pathetic we will pay $10-15 a month to play a poor version of video game with chat abilities built in or should a say to use an instant messenger with an avatar that gains lvls or skills! Oh the mundane world is becoming exiciting again! How about taking 10 years to make a great game that will not get old quick, has fun stuff to do, great graphics, sound, characters, and npcs, and smooth out bugs before they ever think about selling it. Ok ok so maybe I went a little over board but you know what i'm talking about right? message me if you agree with anything I have said or have comments or need ideas for your latest game design be it text based or sumpremo-grando!

I have played many many games in fact far more then I wish to recall, however that has nothing to do with how many more games I will play in the future. I seem to be stuck at the moment with an adventure game mania fetish. Same old same old first person shooters, MMOs, RPGs are driving me crazy (it's the same game over and over and over)! Finally buggy game problems make me so angry I could become a delevoper programmer and make my own games, oh wait too late! If it's crap don't sell it fix it. If you can't fix it find some one who can. If that can't be done flush it or save it for a day with better technology and smarter people! :)
