Does this happen to anybody else? I select my team, it finds an opponent for me and goes to the loading screen. It then just stays on the loading screen until I have to reset the game and try again. It does this more often than not.

Any solutions to preventing this?

Such as fight night, were you start off as nothing and end up progressing through the game to eventually becoming champion. What other games can you think of with a similar theme? Games were you have to pass tests, win fights, gains fans and support and prove yourself to climb up the ranks etc.

I was just watching spartacus: gods of the arena. And I was thinking wouldn't it be awesome to have a gladiator themed style game like that? Start off as a slave, work up to becoming the champ.

I'm not fussed about online play BTW, I'd be quite happy with just offline. I literally just want to use the laptop as a screen instead of a TV.

What is the likelyhood of my xbox being able to play through my laptop? It has a HDMI port on the side of it, so it can connect. But is it as simple as that? Appreciate any advice.

I've been playing Dragon Age: Origins on my new laptop. It by no means plays it great, but it runs smooth on lower settings. However when playing on it today on the exact same settings its really laggy and quite unplayable.

Does anyone know what it could be? Its not that I had other programs or applications open, nothing but the game. Theres barely been any change at all to the laptops state since I last played it, so I'm not sure what it is.

Any ideas appreciated, thanks

Quick bit of help needed guys. I have myself a new laptop but not really sure of its gaming ability.

Its THIS laptop.

AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor QL-64 (2.1ghz, 1mb cache)

4GB RAM

ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

What do you reckon? In terms of playing new PC games, what could it handle? Lets say that Dragon Age: Origins game, could it handle that?

When I was younger I was hooked on command and conquer and age of empires, but since then I've not really explored much in the RTS sector.

I'm looking for a good, recent RTS to start playing. Doesn't necessarily have to be completely war-based, but preferably easy to get into for a rookie-RTSer. What would you recommend?
