If you do that the number of frag-taggers will go up exponentially, not neccessarily a good thing. Multiplayer games are already full of people playing "Run up to the enemy with shotgun out, get as close as you can and shoot him in the face." Adding frag grenades at start would just make it "Run up to the enemy and slap him with a frag," exciting stuff.

The only things the PC game has over the miniatures are the price and availiabilty to play against other people / Ai.

If you can afford to buy a full army and have plenty of people to play against, nothings going to beat the real game.

My ultimate MMO is Legend of Mir, back when it was in it's prime. So simple yet so "addictive." Back when there was only a few MMOs on the market this had a considerable gamer base. Not to mention having it's own TV slot on a fairly well known Sky channel.

hopefully some company or whatnot can find a way to actually crack down on game cracks, keygens, and all that other stuff, making it either risky, or overly hard to obtain these, thus making it more unattractive to new people, as well as those who have been using them for a while.   but it's all speculation, i suppose.

Game companies have been trying to do that for years. Just like anti-virus makers have been trying to stop viruses, there's always 1 that can get around the current security.

As long as there's an active community in cracking games there'll always be someone who can figure out how to get around the companies preventive measures.
